Siliguard (Siliphos) Cartridge for Amiad Compact Filter

The replacement cartridge for the Amiad Compact filter — the small filter installed at the home's water inlet or near the solar water heater. The cartridge contains 500 g of Siliphos balls that gradually dissolve in the water and form a protective layer on the plumbing and heating elements, reducing limescale formation.

What the cartridge does

Protects the solar water heater and heating elements from limescale build-up
Extends the life of the washing machine, dishwasher and kettle
Reduces limescale deposits on faucets and shower heads

Specifications

500 g of Siliphos balls
Height approx. 14 cm, diameter approx. 8 cm
Approved by the Ministry of Health for contact with drinking water
Fits the Amiad Compact filter only — the Alpha and Super Sapphire have a dedicated cartridge

Replacement

Recommended replacement every 4 to 6 months, depending on household water consumption. Close the inlet valve, open the filter bowl, replace the cartridge and close. You can also book a technician to replace it for you.
