Key advantages and technical specifications:
Comprehensive home protection: prevents sand, rust, small stones, fibers and suspended solids from entering the home plumbing system.
Protects appliances: directly protects the heating elements of the solar water heater, washing machine, dishwasher and water faucets, significantly extending the life of the appliances.
Compact, strong structure: specially designed for installation in tight spots (such as the main water meter or apartment inlet) without taking up much space, and made of highly durable polymer materials.
Quality filter mesh: includes an internal stainless steel mesh that can be washed repeatedly, with no need for frequent, expensive filter replacement.
Bottom drain valve: allows quick flushing of dirt accumulated in the filter with a light press, without dismantling the system.
Frequently asked questions
Where should the Amiad Compact filter be installed?
{NL}The ideal place to install it is right after the main water meter of the house or apartment, so the filter protects all water points in the property from the point of entry.
What maintenance does the filter require, and how often?
{NL}Maintenance is very simple. Every few months (depending on the water quality in your area) we recommend opening the bottom drain valve for a few seconds to flush out coarse dirt. Once a year we recommend removing the mesh and washing it by hand under running water.
Does the filter also solve the limescale problem?
{NL}The Amiad Compact filter is designed for mechanical filtration of dirt, sand and rust (solids). To prevent limescale damage, we strongly recommend combining it with a Siliphos cartridge or a dedicated limescale inhibitor.
