General — installation and purchase

For the installation to go smoothly, make sure in advance: two power outlets under the sink, a cabinet at least 60 cm wide, and an installed drain trap (P-trap) and a working kitchen faucet.

If you're also installing a garbage disposal or a dishwasher — it's best to install them before the water system.

We recommend asking your countertop supplier for a 35 mm hole for the faucet. In an existing countertop we drill ourselves, at no extra charge, in quartz (Caesarstone), acrylic, laminate, stainless steel and wood surfaces. In natural stone (granite or marble) and in porcelain or Dekton — drilling is done by the countertop company.

A standard under-sink water system installation takes about two to three hours. Installing a garbage disposal alone — about an hour.

At the end we'll walk you through how to use it and make sure everything works properly.

The main difference is the number of functions: filter-only systems, systems that add chilled water, and combined systems with hot and cold and even sparkling water.

The choice depends on your daily use and the space available under the sink. We'd be happy to advise.

Absolutely. You can buy any component separately — a faucet, filter, chiller, heater or garbage disposal — and expand later.

Yes. We install and provide service nationwide. Contact us and we'll arrange a visit.

Under-sink water system

A typical under-sink system consists of four parts that sit in the cabinet under the sink:

• A dedicated faucet on the countertop — where the filtered water comes out
• A filtration unit — the filter that cleans the water
• A cooling unit — supplies cold water at about 4 °C
• A heating unit — supplies hot water at about 95–98 °C

Not every system has all the components: there are cold-only systems, hot/cold, and hot/cold/sparkling. Your account in the app shows exactly which system is installed at your home.

Yes, and it passes by itself.

After a filter change air gets into the system, and the water looks milky for a moment. Open the filtered-water faucet and let the water run for 2–3 minutes continuously. If the cloudiness remains even after 5 minutes of flow — open a service call in the app; the filter may not have been closed fully.

Check in this order:

1. Is the flow weak in the regular sink faucet too? If so — the problem is the water pressure in the home, not the system.
2. Open the cabinet and make sure the shut-off valve on the inlet pipe is fully open.
3. If everything is fine — the filter has probably reached the end of its life and started to clog. In your account in the app you'll see when your next replacement is due.

The app has a troubleshooting wizard that guides you step by step through exactly this problem.

The most common cause is a filter past its replacement date. A saturated filter stops filtering and sometimes even gives the water a taste.

A second cause: a system that hasn't been used for a few days. Open the faucet and run water for a minute or two.

If the taste remains after running water and the filter is within its life — open a service call. Don't keep drinking water with an unusual taste or smell.

The first action: close the shut-off valve on the system's inlet pipe, and disconnect the power if there's a heating or cooling unit.

Then film a short video of the source of the leak and open a service call in the app. The video is important — it lets us arrive with the right part on the first visit instead of ordering it afterward.

A small leak can turn into major damage to the cabinet. Don't wait.

After drawing several glasses in a row, the tank needs time to recover — about 10–15 minutes. That's normal.

If the water doesn't return to temperature even after half an hour:

1. Make sure the system is plugged in and that the breaker in the cabinet hasn't tripped
2. Check that no energy-saving or Shabbat mode is active
3. If everything is fine — open a service call

Note: a heating element with limescale build-up heats more slowly. This is one of the reasons a water softener extends the life of the system.

For a trip of up to a week there's no need to do anything.

For a longer trip we recommend closing the shut-off valve and disconnecting the system from the power. This saves electricity and prevents damage in case of a leak while you're away.

When you return: open the valve, reconnect the power, and run water for 2–3 minutes before drinking.

Filters and replacements

It depends on the type of filter installed at your home:

• RO pre-filters — every 6 months
• RO membrane — every 18 months
• RO remineralizer — every 18 months
• Carbon and sparkling-water filters — every 6 months
• Nyga-compatible — every 8 months
• PureReal — every 10 months
• BRITA — every 12 months
• Amiad — every 12 months
• BestMax — every 12 months

You don't need to remember: the system knows what is installed at your home and sends a reminder before the date. Your account in the app shows your exact date.

Two things, and neither is good:

Safety — a saturated filter stops capturing contaminants. In some cases it even releases part of what it has accumulated back into the water.

Cost — a clogged filter increases the load on the pump and the system, reduces flow, and in the long run shortens the system's life. Replacing on time is much cheaper than repairs.

A two-week delay is not a disaster. A delay of months is.

On some systems yes, on others no.

Systems with a quick-change cartridge — replacement is one twist and takes a minute. We can send you the filter with instructions.

Systems with a filter housing — require a special wrench, shutting off the water and flushing after replacement. Here it's better that we come.

In any case, after a replacement: open the faucet and run water for 2–3 minutes until it comes out clear.

Not sure which category you belong to? Write to us in the app and we'll tell you.

Through the app, in the filter ordering tab. The system knows which system is installed at your home and shows exactly the matching filters — there's no chance of ordering the wrong item.

If you received a reminder on WhatsApp, it includes a direct ordering link.

In your account, on the devices screen, there's a button to record that the filter was replaced. Pressing it resets the count and moves the next replacement date forward.

This is important: without the update you'll keep receiving reminders about a filter you've already replaced.

Garbage disposal

This is the most common fault, and in most cases you can solve it yourself within a minute. It's a sign that something is stuck between the impellers.

1. Switch off the disposal and disconnect it from the power — this is critical
2. There's a hexagonal hole on the bottom of the disposal. Insert the Allen wrench that came with the unit and turn it in both directions until it frees up
3. Remove what's stuck — never while the unit is connected to the power
4. Reconnect the power and press the red RESET button on the bottom
5. Switch on with running water

The app has a wizard that guides you through exactly these steps.

1. Press the red RESET button on the bottom of the unit. It pops out when there's an overload, and that's the most common cause
2. Check that the breaker in the electrical panel hasn't tripped
3. If there's a air switch or a wall switch — make sure it's working

If you've gone through all three and the disposal is still silent — open a service call in the app with a short video.

Most of the calls we get about disposals come from things that shouldn't have gone in:

• Long fibers — onion skins, celery, corn husks, artichoke
• Large bones and pits
• Grease and hot oil — they congeal in the pipes and causes blockages
• Large amounts of coffee grounds — they stick to the walls
• Flour and dough — they turn into glue
• Anything that isn't food: napkins, rubber bands, kitchen utensils

Rule of thumb: run it with a stream of cold water, feed gradually, and keep running water for 15 seconds after the noise settles.

The smell comes from scraps stuck to the walls and the splash guard, not from the motor.

A simple cleaning that works:

1. Put in ice cubes and half a cut lemon, and run with cold water. The ice scrapes the walls and the lemon neutralizes the smell
2. Lift the rubber splash guard and clean it on both sides with a brush and soap — that's where most of the dirt collects
3. Repeat once a month

If the smell remains even after a thorough cleaning, there may be residue in the pipes rather than in the disposal.

Switch it off immediately and disconnect the power.

It's almost always a metal object that fell in — a teaspoon, a bottle cap, a ring. Shine a flashlight into the opening and check. If you see something, remove it by hand or with tweezers, never while the unit is connected.

If the noise continues even after you've removed everything, a grinding impeller may have come loose. In that case don't run it any more — open a service call.

In most cases the problem is in the pipes after the disposal, not in the disposal itself.

A quick check: does the other side of the sink drain slowly too? If so — the blockage is in the shared pipe.

Don't use chemical drain unblockers. They damage the disposal's seals and can cause irreversible damage. If you've tried a plunger and it didn't help, open a service call.

Water softeners

A water softener removes the hardness minerals that cause limescale from all the water entering the home — not just the drinking water.

It works by ion exchange: it captures the calcium and magnesium ions that form limescale and replaces them with sodium ions. The result: no limescale on faucets and toilets, the water heater and washing machine last many more years, soap lathers better and you use less of it, and skin and hair feel softer.

It's important to understand: a softener is not a filter. It isn't meant to improve the taste of drinking water — that's what the filtration system is for.

On average every 4–8 weeks, depending on family size and water consumption.

The rule is simple: open the salt tank and look. If the salt level has dropped below half — top it up.

Important: only salt intended for water softeners, in coarse grains. Table salt, coarse kitchen salt or cooking salt will clog the system and cause damage. The right salt can be bought through the app.

This is completely normal. It's the regeneration flush.

The softener flushes itself automatically to restore its softening capacity, and in most systems this is scheduled for the night so as not to interfere with use in the home. The process lasts about an hour and is accompanied by sounds of flow and drainage.

What isn't normal: if the noise continues for hours, if there's constant flow to the drain, or if the softener flushes several times a day. In these cases open a service call — it's a waste of water and salt.

A salty taste in the water isn't normal and indicates a fault in the regeneration process — usually a valve that didn't close or a setting that has gone wrong.

What to do: stop drinking the water, and open a service call. There's no need to disconnect the system, but don't wait — such a fault also wastes salt.

Yes. They do two different things.

The softener deals with limescale throughout the home and protects the pipes and electrical appliances. It doesn't remove chlorine, heavy metals, tastes or smells.

The kitchen filter deals with what you drink — chlorine, turbidity, particles, metals. The combination of the two is what gives both protection for the home and good drinking water.

Water bar

After drawing several glasses in a row the tank empties and needs time to recover — usually 10–20 minutes.

It depends on the model: a typical home water bar supplies about 40 glasses of boiling water and 50 glasses of cold water per hour. If you're hosting guests and run out, that's not a fault — it's simply the unit's capacity.

External cleaning: a damp cloth with a little dish soap. No abrasives and no bleach — they damage the panel and stickers.

The drip tray: pull it out, wash it and put it back. Worth doing once a week — that's where limescale and dirt collect.

Internal cleaning and tank disinfection: this is a job that requires dismantling and shouldn't be done yourself. We carry it out as part of a service visit.

Important: disconnect the power before any cleaning.

Each model has different codes, but three alerts are common to all of them:

• Filter alert — the replacement date has arrived
• Water alert — no water supply; check that the shut-off valve is open
• Overheating alert — the unit has entered self-protection

If it's not clear what the light means: take a photo of the panel and upload it when opening a service call in the app. That way we'll know in advance what awaits us.

The child-safety lock is a mechanism on the hot-water lever that prevents children from opening it by mistake.

On most models you press a small lock button next to the handle while pulling the handle. On some models the handle automatically returns to the closed position after each draw.

If the mechanism is loose or doesn't engage — don't rely on it, and open a service call. It's a safety component.

Ecosoft CROSS 90 Balance

An electric direct-flow reverse osmosis system from Ecosoft, model MO3600MPECO.

Direct flow means there's no storage tank — the water is produced in real time, so it's always fresh and the system takes up less space under the sink.

Three dedicated filters, a 600 GPD membrane, and a smart faucet with an LED ring that shows the filter status.

The system has three filters, each on a different schedule:
• CF pre-filter (SKU CPVDFRO) — every 12 months
• 600 GPD RO membrane (SKU CSVR0600DFRO) — every 18 months
• MCB post-filter, carbon and mineral enrichment (SKU PDCBDFRO) — every 12 months

In other words, once a year you replace two (CF and MCB), and every two years you also add the membrane.

Dimensions: width 43.3 cm, height 45.2 cm, depth just 13.6 cm.

The narrow depth is the big advantage — the system stands at the side of the cabinet and takes up very little space. There's no storage tank, so it's significantly slimmer than traditional reverse osmosis systems and leaves storage space under the sink.

Four filtration stages in three cartridges:

1. Combined PP sediment filter — large particles, sand, rust and dust
2. Carbon block filter — chlorine, organic substances and organochlorine compounds
(these two sit in a single CF cartridge)

3. 600 GPD RO membrane — lead, fluoride, chloramines, PFAS, PFOS, organic matter, bacteria and viruses

4. Enriching carbon post-filter — improves taste, removes odors and adds calcium

In total up to 99.8% of contaminants are removed, including bacteria and viruses.

The LED ring at the base of the faucet shows the filter status at a glance:
• Blue — enough capacity, normal operation. No beep.
• Purple — the filter is nearing its end; time to order. One beep.
• Red — the filter is exhausted; replace it now. Two beeps.

The system body has three separate lights: RO for the membrane, MCB for the post-filter and CF for the pre-filter — so you can see exactly which one needs attention.

After replacing each filter — press and hold its reset button for 5 seconds. You'll hear one beep, the light will flash and then turn solid blue.

Each filter has its own reset button on the front of the system, so you reset only what was replaced.

A full replacement takes less than 7 minutes, without tools and without shutting off the water.

Two reasons:

Safety — the RO membrane removes up to 99.8% of contaminants: PFAS, bacteria, heavy metals and microplastics. A membrane past its time starts letting through substances it's supposed to stop.

Taste — the MCB filter adds calcium and removes residual odors. When it's exhausted the water loses its clean mineral taste, and that's exactly what distinguishes it from tap or bottled water.

Ecosoft CROSS Solo

Once every 12 months, and only one cartridge is replaced.

The CROSS Solo has a 2-in-1 cartridge (SKU CSVPDRO500) that contains both the RO membrane and a carbon post-filter. In other words, one replacement a year renews the entire filtration set-up — no separate membrane and no separate maintenance.

Replacement takes less than 5 minutes, with a twist-and-lock mechanism and no tools. The system automatically stops the water flow as soon as the cartridge is removed, so the change is dry and clean.

The actual frequency depends on your home's water quality and how intensively it's used.

A direct-flow reverse osmosis system, without a storage tank — model MO1500PECO.

• Output: 78 liters per hour (1.3 liters per minute) — a glass fills in about 10 seconds
• Membrane: 500 GPD, removes up to 99.8% of contaminants including PFAS, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses
• Two filtration stages in a single cartridge
• Dimensions: 30 × 14 × 20 cm (H × W × D) — the smallest in its category
• Recovery rate: up to 50%
• Required inlet pressure: 1–4 bar

It's especially suitable for small kitchens and households of 1–2 people. If you're a larger family, the CROSS 90 Balance is a better fit.

Yes, three:

• Leak sensor — detects a leak and prevents flooding
• Automatic membrane flushing — prevents build-up and extends its life
• Automatic shut-off after 30 minutes of continuous operation

In addition there are LED alerts and audible signals that show when it's time to replace the cartridge.

Good to know: the system is intended for cold mains water only. If the home is supplied from well water, a laboratory water test is needed before installation.

Service, warranty and the app

In the app, with the open service call button.

The process: choose the device, describe what's happening, and the system takes you through a short diagnosis. Many faults are solved here, without a visit and without waiting.

If it isn't solved — film a short video of the fault. The video isn't bureaucracy: it lets us see the problem in advance and arrive with the right part the first time.

After opening, you'll receive three time slots to choose from on WhatsApp, in two-hour windows. Choose what suits you — no phone calls back and forth.

Because that's what makes one visit really one visit.

Without seeing the fault, a technician arrives, diagnoses, finds he's missing a part, and books another visit. With a ten-second video we already know what's broken, take the right part from the warehouse, and finish in one visit.

It doesn't need to be a professional video. Just film the spot up close and run the unit so we can hear and see what's happening.

You don't need to call or wait for us to get back to you.

When a service call is opened, the system sends you three possible time slots on WhatsApp in two-hour windows. Tap the slot that suits you and the booking is done.

None of the slots suit you? You can ask for a new offer, and we'll send other times.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults and failures of system components during the warranty period of the product you bought. The warranty period varies from product to product — on the CLACK softener, for example, it's 5 years on the main components.

What isn't included: filters and consumables, damage caused by incorrect use, and damage resulting from installation or handling carried out by someone else.

The account keeps your installation date, so the status is always clear.

There's nothing to download from the app store — the app opens from the browser and is saved as a regular icon.

iPhone: open app.beilinh2o.co.il in Safari, tap the share button at the bottom, and scroll to Add to Home Screen.

Android: open the same link in Chrome, tap the three dots at the top, and choose Install app.

From then on it opens like any other app, in full screen.

On the login screen there's a forgot password link — enter the email address used for the purchase and you'll receive a reset link.

Important: you always log in with the email address you bought with. If you tried a different address, that's why.

Still stuck? Message us on WhatsApp at 052-595-8465 and we'll set up your access.

Don't remove it yourself. An under-sink system is connected to water and electricity, and improper removal can cause leaks for the next residents and damage to the system itself.

Open a service call in the app and choose system relocation. We come, dismantle it properly, and install it in your new home.

It's worth booking in advance — it's a job that requires coordinating both appointments.
