Answers to the most frequently asked questions in this category.
The system sits in the cabinet under the sink and isn't visible. Only the dedicated faucet remains on the countertop, and that's the big difference compared to a water bar that takes up room on the work surface.
A basic osmosis system works on water pressure alone and doesn't need electricity. Add-ons such as a water chiller or an under-sink water heater do need a power outlet under the sink.
Filtration depth — a clear advantage for the under-sink system, especially in hard-water areas. Convenience and immediacy — an advantage for the water bar. Space and electricity — an advantage for the under-sink system.
Yes. A combined under-sink system provides cold and hot filtered water from one faucet, without giving up kitchen space.
Yes. Dismantling and reinstallation are possible, and it's worth arranging in advance to make sure the new kitchen is suitable.
Two power outlets under the sink, a cabinet at least 60 cm wide, and a 35 mm hole in the countertop for the faucet. If the countertop is already in place — we do the drilling. When installing a side faucet, it's important that the siphon is installed and the kitchen faucet is working.

A complete under-sink system is the full solution for the kitchen: a single filtration, chilling and heating unit hidden inside the cabinet and connected to a dedicated faucet on the countertop. Instead of a water bar taking up counter space, you get cold, hot and filtered water straight from the faucet — with no tanks to replace and no compressor noise in the kitchen.
What a complete model includes
- Multi-stage filtration — mechanical pre-filtration, activated carbon, and on some models a reverse osmosis membrane
- Chilling unit — supplies cold water continuously even at peak hours
- Heating — instant boiling water for tea and coffee, with a child safety lock
- Dedicated faucet — stainless steel or coated brass, in a design that suits a modern kitchen
Three things to check before choosing
- How much water your household drinks a day
- Whether there's a free power outlet under the sink
- The diameter of the hole in the countertop — most models require 25 mm
Every system is installed by a certified BEILIN H2O technician, including a pressure check, drain connection and guidance. Nationwide service and filter replacement.
