The four filtration stages – what each stage removes

1. Combined PP sediment filter – large particles, sand, rust and dust
2. Carbon block filter – chlorine, organic substances and organochlorine compounds
   {NL}These two stages sit in a single CF cartridge
3. 600 GPD RO membrane – lead, fluoride, chloramines, PFAS, PFOS, organic matter, bacteria and viruses
4. Carbon post-filter with enrichment (MCB) – improves taste, removes odors and adds calcium

Maintenance – how often to replace

Filter replacement is quick, clean and dry – no tools and no shutting off the water:

• Pre-filter (CF): every 12 months
• 600 GPD membrane (RO): every 24 months
• Post-mineralization and carbon filter (MCB): every 12 months

In other words: once a year you replace two (CF and MCB), and every two years you also replace the membrane.

The system automatically alerts you when replacement is needed with an LED ring on the faucet: blue – OK, purple – nearing the end, time to order (one beep), red – exhausted, replace now (two beeps). The system body has three separate lights – RO, MCB and CF – so you can see exactly which one needs attention.

After replacement, press that filter's reset button for 5 seconds – one beep, the light flashes and then stays solid blue.
