Why a storage tank
Unlike direct-flow systems, the tank accumulates purified water between uses — so even when the water pressure in the building is low, water is available immediately and at constant pressure. It's the right solution for homes where the water pressure is unstable.
The filtration setup
- K5 — mechanical pre-filtration: sand, rust and particles
- K2 — activated carbon: chlorine, odors and off-tastes
- RO-50S membrane — heavy metals, salts, nitrates, bacteria and viruses
- K7M — mineralization: restores calcium and magnesium and balances the water's taste
Maintenance
- Pre-filter cartridges (K5, K2): every 6 months
