Siliguard Anti-Limescale Cartridge for Amiad Alpha and Super Sapphire

Siliguard (Siliphos) Cartridge for Amiad Alpha Filter

The original Amiad replacement cartridge for the Alpha and Super Sapphire limescale filters. The cartridge is filled with Siliphos balls that gradually dissolve in the water and form a thin protective layer on the walls of the pipes and heating elements, reducing limescale formation and corrosion throughout the home.

What the cartridge does

• Protects the solar water heater and heating elements from limescale build-up
• Extends the life of the washing machine, dishwasher and kettle
• Reduces limescale deposits on faucets and shower heads

Compatibility

• Fits Amiad Alpha and Super Sapphire filters
• Does not fit the Mini Sapphire and Amiad Compact — the Compact has a dedicated cartridge

Replacement

Recommended replacement every 6 months, or sooner if the balls in the cartridge have been used up. Close the inlet valve, open the filter bowl, replace the cartridge and close. You can also book a technician to replace it for you.

The cartridge meets the requirements of Israeli Standard 5438.
