Omnipure K2551 Combined Coconut Carbon Remineralizer — better taste, balanced water
An OmniPure (USA) inline filter that combines two stages in one unit: coconut carbon that removes chlorine and organic compounds that affect taste and smell, and a remineralizer that returns calcium to the water and balances acidity. Designed for installation as the final stage in reverse osmosis systems — exactly where the water comes out too clean and tasteless.
What it does
- Coconut carbon — adsorbs chlorine, off-tastes and odors.
- Adds calcium — returns a mineral that osmosis removes, and raises the pH for less acidic water.
- A more pleasant taste — the combination of the two is the difference between "flat" water and water that's a pleasure to drink.
- NSF certified, made in the USA.
- 1/4″ threaded connection — fits most home osmosis systems.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you need a remineralizer after osmosis?
{NL}An osmosis membrane removes almost everything — including the minerals. The result is slightly acidic, tasteless water. The remineralizer restores calcium and balances the acidity, and the carbon handles the taste and smell left from the tank.
Does it fit my system?
{NL}If your system has 1/4″ connections — yes. Not sure? Send us a photo of the existing filter and we'll confirm before you buy.
How often should it be replaced?
{NL}The recommendation is about every 6 months. In a household that uses a lot of water, it's worth replacing sooner.
Why buy from BEILIN H2O?
We install and maintain osmosis systems every day, and know exactly which filter fits which system. Want us to replace it for you? You can book a technician at extra cost.
